PeoplePlus Helps Generate £3,326,036 of Turnover for the Self-Employed in Manchester

In 2020 EnterprisingYou was funded so self-employed individuals in Greater Manchester could benefit from coaching and support to grow themselves and their enterprises. PeoplePlus has delivered EnterprisingYou to 1,320 people since the programme started. 91% of these people have seen their profits increase, and over £3,326,036 of turnover has been generated for the businesses.
The self-employed business community is a vital part of our economy, contributing £303 billion. It is vital the ‘lifestyle’ small businesses receive support and continues to do so. 75% of people who received support from PeoplePlus on EnterprisingYou said they felt more positive about their self-employed future having received support on the programme.
EnterprisingYou is a business coach led support programme that is bespoke to each client. It consists of several key elements aimed at developing the skills, confidence, and abilities of the small business owner, including one to one expert business coaching, health and wellbeing support, personal finance advice and access to a wide range of training sessions.
